Website terms of use

These terms apply to laclavegroup.com. By using the website you accept them. If you don't agree, please don't use it.

Information on the website

We publish event information (dates, times, venues, artists and prices) with great care. It may change because of the artists, the venues or reasons outside our control; the valid information is the latest published on the website or sent to you by email.

Content

The text, design, logo and the “La Clave Group” brand belong to us or are used with permission. Artists' posters, photos and videos belong to their owners. You may not copy them or use them commercially without permission.

Fair use

Links to other websites

The website links to third-party services (Eventbrite and other ticketing platforms, WhatsApp, Instagram, Facebook, Spotify, YouTube and others). Each has its own terms and policies, which we don't control.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of Ireland. If you are a consumer, you keep the rights given to you by the law of the EU country where you live and may go to its courts.

Privacy policy

Data controller: La Clave Limited (CRO 665748), Ireland. La Clave Group is the trading name of La Clave Limited. For anything about your data, write to info@laclavegroup.com or call +353 87 116 0498. We process your data under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and Ireland's Data Protection Act 2018.

What we keep and why

We don't sell your data or share it with artists. We don't make automated decisions with legal effects on you: the instant quote price is calculated from fixed rates and reviewed by a person when needed.

Who we work with (processors)

Some of these providers may process data outside the European Economic Area. In that case the transfer is protected by GDPR mechanisms (European Commission standard contractual clauses or the EU-US Data Privacy Framework). [CONFIRM each provider's mechanism in its data processing agreement.]

How long we keep it

Your rights

You can ask to access, correct or delete your data, restrict or object to its use, or take it with you (portability), and you can withdraw any consent at any time. Write to info@laclavegroup.com; we will reply within one month at the latest. If you're not satisfied, you can complain to Ireland's Data Protection Commission (www.dataprotection.ie).

Children

Our forms are not intended for children under 16. Tickets for minors must be bought by an adult.

Security

The website always uses an encrypted connection (https). Only authorised La Clave Group staff can access the data, with their Google account and through a private dashboard. The files you upload have no public link.

Cookie policy

The public website only uses analytics cookies (Google Analytics) and advertising cookies (Google Ads) if you accept them in the cookie banner. Until you accept, they are blocked: the Google tag does not load and nothing is sent. We don't use a language cookie (the language is set by the page address). You can change your choice at any time in “Cookie settings” at the bottom of every page; we ask again after 6 months.

If we ever add other cookies that aren't necessary (analytics, for example), we will ask for your permission first and update this policy.

Ticket terms

These apply to tickets we sell on this website. If you buy on Eventbrite or another platform, their terms also apply; what is said here about the event (entry, changes, cancellations) applies all the same.

Price and purchase

You see the total price in euros before paying. Your purchase is confirmed when you receive the email with your tickets. Each ticket has a QR code valid for one person and one entry; the first code scanned is the valid one, so don't share or post your tickets.

No right of withdrawal and no refunds

Tickets are for a leisure event on a specific date. Under the Consumer Rights Act 2022 and EU consumer law, the 14-day right of withdrawal therefore doesn't apply. All sales are final: tickets are only refunded if the event is cancelled completely. [PENDING THE LAWYER'S REVIEW, especially the case of a change of date.]

If the event is cancelled, rescheduled or moved

We don't cover travel, accommodation or other costs you arranged yourself, except where the law requires it (for example, if the cancellation is due to our negligence).

Entry to the event

Photos and video at the event

We take photos and videos at our events to promote La Clave Group (website, social media and advertising), and you may appear in crowd shots. We do this on the basis of our legitimate interest in promoting the events. If you don't want to appear, tell our team at the event or write to info@laclavegroup.com and we will remove images in which you can be clearly identified.

Resale

Tickets may not be resold commercially or above the price paid (this is also restricted by the Sale of Tickets (Cultural, Entertainment, Recreational and Sporting Events) Act 2021). Resold tickets may be cancelled without a refund. You may pass your ticket on to someone else as long as you don't charge more than you paid.

Liability

We are liable as the law provides. Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or your rights as a consumer. We are not liable for personal belongings lost at the venue, unless due to our negligence.

Booking terms (artists and equipment hire)

These apply when you book artists for your event or equipment hire and technical production with La Clave Group. Anything agreed in the signed proposal or quote for your event takes precedence over these general terms.

Quote and booking

If you cancel

Let us know in writing (email) as soon as possible. The 40% paid to book the date is non-refundable. [PENDING THE LAWYER'S REVIEW: that keeping the 40% is not an unfair term, whether the 14-day right of withdrawal applies (especially for equipment hire to consumers) and what happens to the remaining 60%; proposal: the 60% is only charged if the cancellation arrives in the last 24 hours]. What we keep will never exceed the real and reasonable costs and losses the cancellation causes us.

If we cancel

If we can't provide the service for reasons within our control, we refund everything you have paid and, if you prefer, offer you an artist or equipment of a similar standard.

What we need from the client

Looking after the equipment

Our technical crew sets up and operates the equipment. The client is responsible for damage or loss caused by guests or by misuse, except normal wear and tear; we will tell you and show you the damage before claiming anything.

Outdoor events

A covered or protected area is needed for the stage and electrical equipment. If rain, wind or anything else puts people or equipment at risk, our technical crew may pause or stop the performance; this is not a breach of contract.

Force majeure

Neither party is liable if it cannot perform for reasons beyond its reasonable control (for example, severe weather, orders from the authorities, serious illness of an artist or power cuts). In that case we will look for a new date together or refund what you paid for anything not provided.

Liability

We are liable for the booked service as the law provides. If you book as a business, our liability is limited to the contract price, except for death or injury caused by negligence or for fraud. If you are a consumer, you keep all your legal rights.
